Despite Juventus' - or rather Ronaldo's - interest, speculation suggests that Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are the two most eager suitors for the Dutch wonderkid, though Premier League sides Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City are also thought to be monitoring the situation.
Asked how he reflected on the campaign, De Ligt said: "I think it was a hard end to a memorable season".
Ernesto Valverde's team may try to tempt De Ligt using the same approach they employed during their pursuit of De Jong.
On De Ligt, who was nutmegged by Goncalo Guedes before the Portugal winger exchanged passes with Bernardo Silva and fired in a 60th-minute victor, Van de Beek added: "A lot of clubs want to buy him, I think, because he is a good player and now he has to choose for himself".
Asked if Ronaldo had told him to join Juventus in this transfer window, De Ligt seemingly confirmed that he did.
"My situation is I have a contract with Ajax and I am really happy", he said.
"A lot of clubs want to buy him, I think so because he is a good player and now he has to choose for himself, where he feels good, he has to go there".
However, it seems De Ligt will now go on holiday and take some time to decide his future.
The Spanish giants have already raided Ajax to sign Frenkie de Jong for next season and they remain keen to reunite De Ligt with de Jong despite reports that the deal has stalled in recent weeks due to the price of the overall deal. However, the Catalan club's financial offer has fallen well short of what was expected by de Ligt's agent Mino Raiola.
