The San Jose Sharks will be shorthanded for Game 6 against the St. Louis Blues.

Joe Pavelski was termed a game-time decision by the coach, but indications are that he will likely play despite taking a high hit from the Blues' Alex Pietrangelo in Game 5 at SAP Center on Sunday.

The Sharks have already staved off elimination four times this postseason, rallying from 3-1 down in a first-round series against Vegas and then winning a seventh game on home ice in the second round against Colorado.

Dylan Gambrell will draw in for Hertl, who has 15 points (10g, 5a) in the playoffs, while Tim Heed will play in place of Karlsson, who has 16 points (2g, 14a).

The 25-year-old Hertl is second on the team with 10 goals this post-season, after scoring 35 in the regular season.

The Sharks watched a handful of their best players go down with injuries at various points in Game 5, and their absences were hard to miss at this morning's practice.
