Looking at the teaser image, which is accompanied in Jain's tweet, we also know that the Redmi Note 7S will also feature a dual-rear camera setup.
As we mentioned, the Redmi Note 7S will be a part of the smartphone family that already has the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7 as the two latest models. The new phone will join the Redmi Note 7 Pro that was launched in the country back in February with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 camera sensor at the back. Previously, Xiaomi shared similar pictures taken from the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 7 with 48MP camera.

The company will be launching the all-new Redmi Note 7S smartphone in India on May 20th. It sports 6.3-inch waterdrop notch display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Redmi India twitter account posted the launch event poster hinting that Redmi Note 7S is coming with 48MP dual rear cameras. The Note 7S could be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU, up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Manu Kumar Jain tweeted that "an all-new SUPER Redmi Note for all our India Mi fans is coming". The Indian variant doesn't offer a 48MP rear camera, using a 12MP+2MP camera pairing instead. The Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and support 18W fast charging. It has a 48MP primary camera with a 5MP depth sensor and a front-facing 13MP selfie camera.
If it is rebranded Note 7, the pricing should also be the same.
The phone is available in India at a starting price of Rs 13,999.
