This week is the 68th annual Mental Health Week and the Canadian Mental Health Association is encouraging people to #GetLoud about mental health.

On "Today", Jenna Bush Hager and Willie Geist profiled the story of Julia Paxton, 19, of Howard, Ohio. She was diagnosed with depression and anxiety when she was 17-years-old and began treatment at Nationwide Children's. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. The $10,000 scholarship will is awarded to a student committed to a career in behavioral health.

MHA, which was founded in 1960, is a provider of residential and support services to individuals impacted by mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance use and homelessness throughout the Greater Springfield Area.
"It's just a celebration of wellness and mental health, an event that shows we all are working together, side-by-side to help our youth", she said.
The Behavioral Health Center at AdventHealth Central Texas also has a 24/7 hotline.
"Because kids don't wear their thoughts on their sleeves, we don't know what they might be going through, but we can all be a voice for childhood mental health", said David Axelson, MD, chief of the Department of Psychiatry and Big Lots Behavioral Health Services at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
Doctors shared with Central Texas News Now, it does not matter what age you are, mental illness can hit someone at any point in their life, and promoting good mental health and finding help is the key to prevention.
