Beyonce’s ‘Homecoming’ Live Album Came Out Along With Her Netflix Documentary

Beyoncé drops new 'Homecoming live' album documentary

Beyonce Releases ‘Homecoming’ Live Album Feat. New Cover Song ‘Before I Let Go’

Beyonce has dropped a surprise 40-track companion album of her "Homecoming" 2018 Coachella performance to accompany the Netflix documentary about the event that arrived early this morning.

Homecoming, the album, features recordings of her live renditions of "Crazy In Love", "Freedom", "Formation", "Bow Down", "Drunk in Love", "Lose My Breath", "Lift Every Voice and Sing", and more from when she delivered a jaw- and mic-dropping 2018 Coachella set, with a concept that paid tribute to America's historically black colleges and universities. Right at the end of the film during credits, a new song called "Before I Let Go" plays.

And we can indeed confirm - it is unreal.

Destiny's Child previously recorded a cover of the song back in 1997, though it was never officially released.

Knowles made the secret album drop her thing in 2013 and kept that tradition going with her Lemonade album and "Everything Is Love", the latter she created with husband Jay-Z.

The Homecoming tracks, which are basically all your favorite Beyonce songs with a drum line performance, became available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and Tidal shortly after midnight PT on Wednesday. Homecoming is the expected Netflix documentary that the singer has been teasing for the past few weeks and also the title of the accompanying live album, which unexpectedly accompanied the arrival of the film.
