The company recently launched the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro smartphones in the country and now it is all set to come up with another Redmi smartphone. Xiaomi has managed to sell one million devices in the Redmi Note 7-series. As per the teaser the USP of the smartphone will be its selfie camera. As per graphic, Manu is shown taking selfies with 32 of his colleagues and guess what, the Redmi Y3 too is coming with 32MP selfie camera. The new video teaser of the upcoming Y series hints that the smartphone will have a bigger battery that will last for more than a day in a single charge.
Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi vice president (global) and managing director (India), has begun teasing the upcoming Redmi Y3, a successor of the successful Y2 series launched in 2018.
By now, it is known that Redmi is working on a flagship smartphone that will get the power from the Snapdragon 855 SoC. The Redmi Y3, when launched, would succeed the Redmi Y2 launched past year in India. The device packs 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage. Price is expected to be less compared to the other smartphone sporting the same chip. You can expect to see a fullHD+ display on this phone, while the device is rumored to sport a 48-megapixel main camera on the back, identical to the one on the HONOR View20.
On the optics department, The camera setup is a vertical tri-camera setup similar to the one on Mi 9, but to make the smartphone cheaper Xiaomi may opt for cheaper lens instead.
