United are looking to bounce back from their first domestic defeat under Solskjaer last weekend at Arsenal - a side they overcame in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

"We've had a great run and now we've had two defeats".

"It was the poorest performance we've had", said Solskjaer.

United are set to enter the worldwide break sat outside the Champions League spots.

The Wales star has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for years and talk of an exit from Real Madrid has intensified since Zinedine Zidane's reappointment last week. "That was the poorest performance we have had".

"It's a big step backwards, I've got to say".

The Norwegian said his side have "got to go again" after the worldwide break as they bid for a top-four finish in the Premier League and face Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Success in either of those competitions would get United back on track, while they are also chasing down a top-four finish in the Premier League. Luke Shaw was disappointing at left-back, while Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof lacked authority at centre-half.

"It's something natural that you can't perform to the highest level all the time", he said.

"Solskjaer's side actually played really well, and if they can repeat that performance then it should put them in the semi-finals".

"We'll be ready to push again".

"This is the poorest we've played, but against a good team". In April and May, Manchester United always find our form and we can't wait for the challenge.

With their fans singing "We're on our way back", Wolves savoured another huge Cup victory after knocking out Liverpool in the third round and will now have a Wembley semifinal to add to their many highlights in a hugely impressive first season back in the Premier League.
