One player did manage to pick the 5 white balls but not the PowerBall, earning them $2 million.
Powerball fever is heating up again, thanks to a lottery jackpot that is now over $400 million.
There have been 22 consecutive drawings without a victor since a ticket sold in NY matched all six numbers in the $294 million Powerball jackpot drawing on December 26. The estimated cash value for Saturday's drawing is $300.2 million. The third ticket, sold in Florida, is worth $2 million because the purchaser paid extra for the Power Play. Two of those tickets were sold in NY and are worth $1 million each. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26).
· In Michigan, one ticket sold won $50,000.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1.
Mega Millions draws on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m.
Powerball is held in 44 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Tickets must be purchased before 10 p.m., and the live drawing it at 10:59 p.m.
