Gaga had been on the circuit since the fall promoting A Star Is Born, which ultimately earned her her first Oscar, for Best Original Song. Today, she took to Twitter to announce that she's pregnant with her next studio album, which she's calling LG6. "Gaga was partying throughout most of awards season, but then she stopped".
"The first thing everyone will want to know is whose baby this is", they added.
Gaga is surging professionally amid her intimate duet of Shallow at last month's Academy Awards with her co-star and director in A Star Is Born, Bradley Cooper. As much as the rumour mill has been in god damned overdrive recently about whether or not she's got a wee bun in her monster oven, she's swatted away those whispers with a single tweet.
The possibly-still-untitled album (we're guessing it won't actually be called #LG6) will follow 2016's Joanne. She hasn't shared much about what her next album would be like, but she's been rumored to have worked on new music with Mark Ronson, Bloodpop, Sophie, DJ Whiteshadow, and Boys Noize.
However, Gaga dismissed the idea during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live a few days later. This is a love song. "And what it has done to pop culture is abysmal".
"People saw love and, guess what, that's what we wanted to you to see". This is a love song. "The movie, "A Star Is Born", it's a love story".
Earlier this month, Gaga said that she had her Oscars speech prepared since she was 14. "It was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time".
