"This is your opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at Gearbox Software and Gearbox Publishing, along with the latest news and updates from the makers of Borderlands, Battleborn, Brothers in Arms, and more", reads the above PAX East panel listing.
After years of development, Gearbox is finally ready to unveil Borderlands 3. Today the developer shared a very conspicuous and loud teaser proclaiming some big announcement on March 28, which coincides with Gearbox's big one-hour PAX East showcase. The sign displays "Boston", the city where PAX East is held.
The teaser image shows a highway sign for Boston, Mass. and date March 28, while the background looks visually similar to the style of the Borderlands series. "We will have never-before-seen reveals, exclusives, and surprises, so don't miss out!" Unverified reports say classes like the assassin and siren will make a return in Borderlands 3, alongside a soldier who can call in mechs and a beastmaster who can summon and control in-game animals.
