Two months ago, Capcom and CD Projekt Red surprised gamers when they announced that Geralt of Rivia would feature in a crossover event with Monster Hunter: World. You can see more of Geralt's new adventure in the new trailer below.... We will convey to you about the update as soon as possible. But Capcom has done much more than the bare minimum (see: Resident Evil 2), releasing an all new quest line available to players who have reached Hunter Rank 16 or above.
The available costume sets for the hunter are based on the main "Witcher" characters, Geralt and Siri.
Monster Hunter: World introduces a living, breathing ecosystem in which players take on the role of a hunter that seeks and slays ferocious beasts in heart-pounding battles that unfold across the vast ever-changing terrain. Players will be able to use Geralt's weapons and abilities including his silver sword and combat magic. Additionally, players will be able to influence the story through the choices they make throughout the quest line.
The Monster Hunter: World x The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt collaboration is available on Xbox One and Playstation 4 now.
Completing the contract Trouble in the Ancient Forest will earn you Witcher-themed special items, resources for crafting Geralt's armor and weapon set, and a unique Nekker skin and Cursed Staff weapon for your Palico.
We've put hundreds of hours into Monster Hunter World and this has been partly due to the great support the title has been given. Called the Contract: Woodland Spirit, : it will pit players against an "extremely challenging" of the Leshen.
Of course, we'll let you know the moment the PC release date drops. Loot collected from fallen foes can be used to create new equipment and armor upgrades styled after the monsters they've slain, allowing hunters to survive the elements and defeat the tougher opponents that await them.
