"It looks like Wendy Williams" return to her talk show has been postponed even more!
The 54-year-old announced that she will continuing her absence from The Wendy Williams show in an "extended break" and cited medical "complications" as the reason.
Williams made the announcement via social media on Friday. "Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves' disease that will require treatment", the Hunter family wrote.
It seems like no matter what, Wendy Williams is followed by misfortune and health problems even in 2019.
"Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital", continues the statement.
"As Wendy Williams Hunter previously shared, she fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend", reads the statement posted on the show's official Instagram page. Despite her very strong desire to return, she's taking a necessary extended break from her show to just focus on her personal and physical well being'.
Finally, the star showed her gratitude towards the fans who have been sending her well-wishes and asked people for privacy during this time.
According to the company, "The Wendy Williams Show" will air repeat episodes the week of January 21st and will produce original episodes with a variety of hosts starting the week of January 28th.
Williams missed the December 17 taping of her show after suffering a hairline fracture to her right shoulder, though it's unclear how.
