It hasn't taken former Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks long to find a new gig.
In addition to Monken and Wilks, the Browns are expected to announce numerous other hires Monday, including the addition of long-time Packers assistant James Campen as associate head coach/offensive line coach. Several Cardinals players, including wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and cornerback Patrick Peterson, publicly expressed support for Wilks and hoped he would return next season, but the Cardinals made the decision to fire Wilks after Arizona went 3-13 in 2018, matching its worst regular-season record in its 31 years in the Valley. This past season the Buccaneers led the league in passing yards per game (320.3) and finished third in total yards per game (415.5). And he was interviewed by the Jets, Packers and Bengals for the head coaching jobs.
