The prize package went unclaimed, though, as none of the 100 participants converted the field goal, per the Sun-Times.

Goose Island hosted a field goal-kicking contest outside of its Fulton Street taproom on Saturday.

Cody Parkey's double-doink missed field goal ended Chicago's season in the NFC Wild Card Round on January 6, breaking the hearts of the Bears faithful at Soldier Field.

Anyone who made the 43-yard field goal and an additional 65-yard field goal also would've won an all-expense paid trip to the Super Bowl.

Guess what, though? Kicking a 43-yard field goal is extremely hard, especially when it's snowing like it did in Chicago on Saturday.

There were 103 failed attempts in total, though Block Club Chicago reports that several kickers came close.

Today in a nutshell is right. A courageous Packers fan wiped out amid a chorus of boos from Bears fans.

Hopefully the fans had fun, but hopefully they also learned that while Parkey is a professional, his job is not easy by any means.
