With the Android 9 Pie upgrade arriving on the Nokia 8 Sirocco, a total of eight Nokia smartphones are now running the latest Android OS, giving users access to the latest features from Google. As usual, Nokia is part of the "Android One" program, which just means the phone has stock Android and a reliable update schedule. These images give us a 360-degree look at this device. According to a new leak, HMD Global might also jump the bandwagon this year as an upcoming Nokia phone will most probably feature a display with a circular hole to house the selfie camera. HMD is most likely focusing on releasing the much-rumoured Nokia 9 PureView first as the phone has been in the pipeline for many months now. The Nokia 9 sounds like a higher-end design than the Nokia 8.1 Plus, with a higher model number, an in-screen fingerprint reader, and a insane five-camera setup on the back. The leak didn't say if the Nokia 6 (2019)'s cameras also support OZO Focus and Zoom, which let you track an audio source and isolate audio to correspond to video zoom, respectively.
Around back we can see that Nokia's equipping the 8.1 Plus with dual cameras, what appears to be a two-tone LED flash, and a fingerprint sensor. The Nokia phone is also rendered with a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top and volume and power buttons on the right side of the frame.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is an ultra-compact, beautifully designed powerhouse, blending Nokia's premium craftsmanship with effortless performance.
