Judge Issues Orders of Protection Against Cardi B

U.S. rapper Cardi B appeared Friday in a NY criminal court, where she was served with two protection orders and warned against making threatening remarks on social media following a strip club brawl.

Police said Cardi B and her entourage were at the club when she argued with a 23-year-old bartender.

As Cardi B was facing the music in court Friday, her name was being announced during the Grammy nominations.

At the time, her attorney said he was not aware of any evidence that Cardi B "caused anybody any harm".

Cardi is due back in court in January, according to NBC New York. They say a fight broke out during which chairs, bottles and hookah water pipes were thrown, injuring the woman and another employee.

The platinum-selling rapper, whose given name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, had an arraignment appearance related to an incident at Angels Strip Club in Flushing in August.

The judge issued orders of protection against the rapper who was obeying a summons issued on October 1 for misdemeanor reckless endangerment and assault.
