Another radio station pulls 'Baby It's Cold Outside' from the airwaves

It's The Most Controversial Time Of The Year...For 'Baby, It's Cold Outside,' At Least

Daughter of songwriter behind baby it's cold outside blames BILL COSBY for ruining song

'Baby, It's Cold Outside, ' has been covered by Michael Bublé, Idina Menzel, James Taylor, Tom Jones and Cerys Matthews, but this year Star 102 Cleveland radio banned all versions of song from its Christmas playlist. "People used to say "what's in this drink" as a joke".

King continued, "I think you can look at anything and read something into it these days, and I just don't think that was the case when they wrote that song and the intent of the song". You know, this drink is going straight to my head so what's in this drink?

"I totally get what you're saying about the context", he acknowledged, "but that powerful reaction has to be dealt with".

Though some say it eerily relates to Bill Cosby drugging women's drinks, Susan Loesser said the time frame of the song's text is more geared for those in the 1940's and 50's.

O'Donnell, citing footage the show aired of Esther Williams and Ricardo Montalbán performing the song in "Neptune's Daughter", called the performance "somewhat coercive" and said that she was rethinking the song.

"I personally love performing "Baby It's Cold Outside" and will continue to do so", Deanna told FOX News. "I think my father would be furious at that", she told NBC News.

'It was written in 1944. "Please count me in the 90 percent", King said to her co-hosts, John Dickerson and Norah O'Donnell.

"It is not a date rape song, it is a flirtatious song".

Cosby was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison in September for drugging and attacking a woman, but more than 60 others accused him of historic crimes including rape, drug-facilitated sexual assault, sexual battery, child sexual abuse, and sexual misconduct.
