So, when the first trailer's released this Friday, you can expect it to be tightly focused around the surviving original team (and maybe Rocket Raccoon and Nebula, too).

A second "Captain Marvel" trailerhas swooped in with Monday's Monday Night Football on ESPN like Air Force flyovers on a football game. It really begs the question; do we need these many promos all at once?

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers 4 stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Evangeline Lilly and Josh Brolin.

Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019.

In fact, Marvel fans actually know more about the plot of Spider-Man Far From Home from set photos and leaks than they do Avengers 4. Could the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer be a tongue-in-cheek teaser about Peter Parker's return, rather than a full-blown trailer? That being said, DanielRPK has a history of providing accurate insider information related to trailer release dates.

At the very same time, Express has speculated that the delay in the release of the trailer would be pushed back for President George HW Bush's funeral, who died earlier this week. Or would you rather Marvel and Sony had kept you in the dark about Spider-Man's final fate?
