There is no film or television show for which I am more excited for than Game of Thrones Season 8, no, not even Star Wars: Episode IX.
It's not safe, however, to be literally anywhere in Westeros, as the Night King and his army of White Walkers are now moving south towards Winterfell, and who knows where else, bringing Winter with them.
HBO dropped our first look at Game of Thrones Season 8, and if this 39-second trailer is true to what's coming, we're not prepared.
In the previous season of "Game of Thrones", Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) chose to join forces (and their loins) to defeat the White Walkers. Disappointingly, the video doesn't actually contain any new footage.
This is poetic, harking back to the title of the novel series the show is based on, A Song of Ice and Fire. Both elements are seen existing in its natural habitat, taking over certain grounds and things get escalated when fire meets ice where the teaser ultimately ends.
It's all a big tease of a brewing battle between Daenerys, the North, and the Lannisters as they fight each other and the looming threat of the White Walkers during season eight of the HBO series. Meeting in the middle on the board, ice and fire finally meet.
