Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is back at home after being released from the hospital. Regarding the aforementioned wisecracks, Stiepleman tells Reuters, "I can't promise they were good jokes, but they were jokes".
"I will literally give 3 ribs to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg if she needs them, along with whichever other body parts she requires until 2020", said activist and WaPo contributor Holly Figueroa O'Reilly.
In addition to just being an all-out inspiration of a human being, Ginsburg is an important component of the Supreme Court's liberal minority. She has survived two bouts of cancer, and in 2014 underwent a procedure to have a stent placed in her right coronary artery. Before the offers had subsided, Ginsburg was already back home, her strength no doubt bolstered by her faithful workouts with Johnson. "For the country, it could be four years".
"I wouldn't say she's exactly on my side, but I wish her well", Trump said Friday, according to the pool report.
The next sitting of the Supreme Court isn't until November 26th, so once again, she's not likely to miss a day of work.
In response, Trump tweeted that Ginsburg was an embarrassment for making "very dumb political statements about me".
In her absence, the court went ahead Thursday with a courtroom ceremony welcoming new Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who joined the court last month.
