"Even nearly got married/And for Pete I'm so thankful/Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm/'Cause he was an angel", she sings.

Taking to Instagram and responding to his post, she wrote: 'HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH IM SORRY U GOT THE WORST LINE. "It was meant v lovingly".

Although the song title sounds like it could throw some shade in the direction of her exes, the lyrics suggest the singer has learned important lessons from her past relationships.

Ari may not be talking about dating, but she's certainly singing about it!

Ariana Grande is encouraging fans to follow her lead and seek out therapy to deal with trauma, because it has been her saviour "so many times". Her first single since calling off her engagement to Pete Davidson, Grande takes a healthy approach to ending a relationship by thanking every one of her exes for the learning experience.

The song dropped about 30 minutes before Davidson's show "Saturday Night Live" aired.

Touching: Ariana pays tribute to her ex Mac Miller, describing him as an angel in the song.

"They have no contact now and she keeps moving forward".

Meanwhile, "Nobody Does It Better" itself is a fan favourite unreleased song which was played live during her "Dangerous Woman" era. Shortly after, she revealed that Thank U, Next is actually the title of her forthcoming album and shared the project's title track.
