Monday's iteration comes from New York Giants co-owner John Mara.

Odell Beckham Jr. continues to receive heat stemming from his controversial interview with ESPN.

Beckham thrust himself back into the spotlight earlier in September when he said he wasn't sure if quarterback Eli Manning was to blame for the Giants' struggles.

The Giants are now sitting at 1-5 on the season. Part of that frustration stems from the team's decision to stick with Manning rather than drafting a quarterback in recent years.

Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said Beckham was dehydrated and going to get an IV, and Beckham explained further, according to Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post.

"I wish he would create the headlines by his play on the field, as opposed to what he says and does off the field", Mara said, via Newsday. "I still. we still believe in him, but everybody needs to do their jobs in order for us to be successful, and right now that's not happening".

After Eagles kicker Jake Elliott missed a 54-yard field goal with two seconds left in the half, the Giants took over on downs with enough time to run one play from their own 44-yard line.

"I know (Eli Manning) is the punching bag right now, but a lot of guys need to play better when you're 1-5".

Right now, though, he's "embarrassed" but his team's record. "I'm suffering just as much as our fans are, probably more".
