#MeToo: Housefull 4 director’s ugly side to sexual harassment

Sajid Khan accused of sexual misconduct by more women

Subhash Ghai, Piyush Mishra face heat; Saloni Chopra accuses Sajid Khan

"I've requested the producers of Housefull 4 to cancel the shoot until further investigation", he wrote on Twitter. Everyone involved in Housefull needs to take a firm stance on this issue. While Sajid Khan has stepped down as director of the film and might not even come back on board, the producer of the film, Sajid Nadiadwala might be hunting for someone to complete the remaining 40% shoot of the film. He said that this requires stringent action and hence he will not work with any proven sex offenders. Sajid wrote, "In the wake of allegations against me and the presssure being put on my family, my producer and the stars of my film Houseful 4, I must take the moral responsibility of stepping down from my directorial post, till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth". Now, Ungli fame actress Rachel White too has accused the filmmaker of sexual misconduct and shared her ordeal on Twitter. He wrote, "I can not adequately stress how shocked, disappointed and heartbroken I am to read the stories about Sajid's behaviour". Before the press meet, Nana Patekar told Times Now that it would have been impossible for him to harass Ms Dutta on a crowded set and that he would sue.

Only a while ago we told you that actress Saloni Chopra and journalist Karishma Upadhyay have accused Sajid Khan of allegedly harassing them.

Actor Saloni Chopra recounted that he would only talk of his genitalia when she worked as an assistant director with him. This decision was taken after Sajid Khan was accused by sexual harassment by not one but two girls.

Who would've thought that the maker of many blockbuster comedy films, Sajid Khan, is actually a sexual abuser.

She added that she had to work with him again while she was working with a music channel. She wrote: "The first time I interviewed Sajid Khan in the early 2000s, he called me to the house he shared w/ his sister".

The ongoing avalanche of sexual assault claims being made against men in the entertainment industry, including filmmakers Subhash Ghai and Vikas Bahl, actors Rajat Kapoor and Alok Nath, comedians Gursimran Khamba and Utsav Chakraborty, have led to more women calling out sexism and sexual misconduct.
