Mocking some Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee who pressed the case against Kavanaugh, Trump said: "The Democrats have become too unsafe to govern".

Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) has supported repealing the ACA, as well as the Trump administration's "junk" insurance rule.

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer told reporters Wednesday that the Democrats are gearing up to make a government overhaul package the first bill Democrats bring to the floor should they retake the majority.

"I haven't criticized Dianne", McConnell said.

Asked if he considered the crowd at Trump's rally also a mob, McConnell said: "I'm not interested in talking about tweets or what people may say at rallies".

And while Democrats lost the vote, they hope they've gained a message that will bolster their chances of winning Senate control in next month's elections.

"They want to turn America, these Democrats...into a giant sanctuary for criminal aliens and the MS-13 killers that we're getting out of the country by the way by the thousands", he said.
