Justin Bieber wants to become a dual Canadian-American citizen, it's been reported.
But he could be mixing up the red and white flag with a bit of blue.
According to TMZ, Bieber, 24, is planning to "retain his Canadian citizenship", but given that he spends most of his time in the us anyway, it's no surprise he wants to apply to become an American citizen as well.
The report reveals that the 24-year-old singer who moved to Atlanta at age 13 has a deep love for the States where he attained major musical success.
As Justin has a green card, he has a right to live in the USA, so the next steps will see him proving he can speak English and that he has a knowledge of U.S. history and government.
The wedding prep continues: Justin Bieber is going to become an American citizen.
This comes as Justin prepares to marry girlfriend Hailey following a whirlwind courtship.
The two got engaged while on vacation in the Bahamas in July, according to Bieber's Instagram.
"I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I'm not married yet", the model wrote to her fans.
