HMD Global, the company that holds the licence to manufacture Nokia-branded smartphones, is scheduled to hold an event in India on August 21, where it is expected to launch two smartphones.
Nokia Mobile India Twitter account has posted some images captured with most probably Nokia 6.1 Plus rear camera that provides first looks of Lakme Fashion week. Both the variants have received a price cut of Rs 1,500 and will be available at Rs 15,499 and Rs 17,499 respectively. The offers on the phone remain the same as during the time of launch. Now ahead of the launch, it has been revealed that Nokia 6.1 Plus will be a Flipkart exclusive in India.
To recall, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is an Android One smartphone. The phone features a 5.8-inch FHD+ notched display with a resolution of 2280x1080. Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor, it was launched in China in in three storage variants priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs 13,800) for the 4GB RAM, 32GB storage variant; CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 16,000) for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant and CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 18,100) for the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage variant.
Following from current trends at the top end, the dual camera configuration may come with two separate focal lengths, wide and telephoto. It has various connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and Type-C.
