Gus Poyet has been given the boot by Bordeaux just one game into the Ligue One season following a insane rant where he claimed a player had been sold without even consulted.
"No I am not happy, It is one of my worst days at the club", the 50-year-old Uruguayan said.
Poyet claims he didn't find out about Laborde's departure until the morning of Bordeaux's second leg clash with Mariupol, which the French side won 2-1.
"It's shameful what the club has done to us with Gaetan Laborde". I told the club he could not leave until we bought another player.
"They have not recruited and they let Laborde go", Poyet added on Thursday. I told the club he could not leave until another player had been brought in.
When the press officer said "we will stop there" following a question about Laborde, Poyet interjected 'I decide when we stop. We arrived at the hotel today at 11:45 and Laborde was not there. No one had told me anything about it.
'I want to talk to my agent and I am going to make a decision. When they explain this to me we'll see if I continue.
It's a shame what they have done to me, the players, the fans.
It was reported that Poyet met with club president Stephane Martin at 9am, and left the meeting 10 minutes later.
"The start of the transfer window brought some tension. I don't know if this will be the end for me [at Bordeaux]". But it is a surprise after a win to have such a violent outburst, so we took the action that, in my opinion, had to be taken. "That's not the case - I'm the boss at the club with the owners and the shareholders".
The former Chelsea and Tottenham midfielder had only been with Bordeaux for seven months, however he guided them to sixth in Ligue 1 and a place in Europe this season.
