At San Diego Comic-Con, Toei Animation debuted the English language dub trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and it's giving everyone all the Broly we can handle. Will wonders never cease? First appearing in his own 1993 feature film and then two subsequent sequels of considerably less merit, Broly is easily recognized by his hulking physique, demonic character and pure white eyes (when in the Legendary Super Saiyan state). At the trailer's conclusion, we see Broly finally power up to his Super Saiyan form in a field of green light that appears to destroy everything around Goku. Though it does take the wind out of the sails a bit, there's no confirmation whether or not Broly will be the only "new" Saiyan unveiled as the film also teases a new take on the Saiyan origin story. Fans ha this design of Broly in-action before, so this is definitely a new sight and Saiyan to be excited about. It seems safe to say that there will also be some surprises-perhaps we'll see the return of Vegito, or his fusion dance counterpart, Gogeta?
Dragon Ball Super: Broly will be released this December in Japan, with a North American release to follow in January 2019. Check out the trailer below, and enjoy the well above-average animation quality that comes along with an increased budget.
