Microsoft's "All-New Xbox Hardware" is Just New Bundles

Xbox to Announce New Hardware at Gamescom

Microsoft teases Xbox hardware reveal next month

In related news, Microsoft teased that they'd be showing "new Xbox One hardware", at Gamescom before later amending that to read as "new bundles and accessories" after getting people hot and bothered.

But wait. There's more: There is a telling difference between the Microsoft announcement blog post and the one that appears on the Xbox blog post.

You can tune in to the Inside Xbox stream from Gamescom in Cologne on August 21st at 7:30 AM PT / 10:30 AM ET on Mixer, Twitch, YouTube or on, where Microsoft will be streaming the show live. This means it's very likely we'll be seeing a few Xbox One X bundles.

While no one was really expecting Microsoft to debut these new consoles at Gamescom next month, the phrase "Xbox hardware" is enough to pique anyone's interest.

The new version seems to be only a relatively minor upgrade though, with a USB-C charging port, Windows 10 Bluetooth support, three-level hair trigger locks, and redesigned paddles.

We recently enjoyed the Amazon Prime Day sales event. Many tech products were on sale at Amazon and, of course, games consoles were in demand. "I agree that it's hard for Xbox One X purchasers, but they should know 4 years into a cycle that there is another one coming". It'd be great to see what the company comes up with for a new iteration. Recently Microsoft has been on a studio buying spree to get more first-party entertainment on its close line.
