Harry Kane agrees new six-year deal with Tottenham worth £90MILLION

Harry Kane set to sign new Tottenham contract worth double his current deal- reports

Kane scored 41 goals in all competitions in 2017/18

Yeah, they've still not actually won anything since Pascal Chimbonda was in their line-up but surely, *surely* it's only a matter of time.

The Argentinian also turned down the possibility of joining Real Madrid after Zinedine Zidane left the Santiago Bernabeu.

Spurs used footage of their new stadium and its giant screen to break the news of Kane's deal.

Tottenham wrote on their Twitter account: "We are delighted to announce that Harry Kane has signed a new six-year contract with the club, which runs until 2024".

Here's how the news was broken.

The new deal ties the striker to the club for the next six years and follows the five-year deal signed by Pochettino next month -y'know the one that definitely *doesn't* have any release clause.

Kane scored 30 goals in the recently completed Premier League season, when Spurs finished third, and has passed 20 goals in each of the last four seasons.

The England captain has had his £100,000-a-week salary doubled but with bonuses his earnings could rise to as much as £15m-a-year, putting him on a par with the best paid players in the Premier League.

He is expected to start in the Three Lions' opener with Tunisia a week on Monday.

Tottenham played their home fixtures at Wembley Stadium for the entirety of last season.
