Capcom Japan directly oversaw this effort by providing insight into adding faithful versions of the following characters and example move-sets into the game.
Power Rangers: Legacy Wars is available for download in the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore. Now, the Japanese company aims to combine two of the most popular martial arts franchises in the world, Street Fighter and Power Rangers.
The Street Fighter characters are free to try out immediately in Power Rangers Legacy Wars limited time challenge mode.
"The collaboration between Power Rangers and Street Fighter feels like a dream to me", said Yoshinori Ono, executive producer at Capcom.
You can find the character release dates and details below. While Boom! Studios now holds a license to publish Power Rangers comics, it certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility for the fates to align in the future and IDW to make this Crisis on Infinite Game Screens. Confirmed playable characters include Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Akuma, Cammy, and M.Bison. However, if players want to add the street fighters to their rosters, they can either buy them for $4.99 each as an in-app purchase or take a chance with the game's loot box system, Morph Boxes, in the hopes of collecting their character shards.
Power Rangers: Legacy is already available for Apple and Android devices, but a good chunk of the Street Fighter content becomes accessible today: Ryu - Shoryuken, Hadoken and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku; Chun-Li (Spinning Bird Kick, Kikoken and Hyakuretsukyaku), Guile (Sonic Boom, Flash Kick and Sonic Cross), and Akuma (Gou-Hadoken, Zanku Hadoken and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku); Cammy and M. Bison will drop on June 1 and 15, respectively.
