Mumbai, May 15 As the BJP emerged as the single largest party in the Karnataka Assembly polls today, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said it was set for a bigger mandate in the 2019 Lok Sabha election and lauded party chief Amit Shah for "converting" the people's trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi into votes. We also have similar dream to win on 18 seats during next assembly election.

Bharatiya Janata Party leaders showed confidence of forming government in Karnataka.

"Everyone has to work towards achieving the dream".

One thing Shah has to understand is Goa is different from other States, it had given an absolute majority to BJP in 2012 but the party failed miserably to keep up to the expectations.

The chief minister further said that looking at the "unprecedented" poll triumphs of the BJP under Modi, it was clear that the prime minister had become the most people-friendly leader since Independence. For a party to form a government in the state, it needs a majority of 113 seats in the 224-member Assembly.
