F1 2018 Gets New Details, Official Release Date, and More

F1 2018 will release worldwide on August 24th.

Codemasters, the developer of this title, releases a new iteration of the game nearly every year which is why it was not surprising to hear that there's going to be a Formula 1 2018 title as well.

Codemasters and Deep Silver have just revealed that F1 2018 is coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC later this year. The developer says that the new game will immerse players into the world of Formula 1 more than ever before. The latter available via Steam digital downloads or via physical DVD copy.

"We were delighted by the reception that the highly-acclaimed F1 2017 game received, and are extremely excited to be able to further build on such a strong starting point with F1 2018, ' said Codemasters" F1 Franchise Director, Paul Jeal.

Codemasters has been pretty tight-lipped about any other features, though we can expect F1 2018 to feature an even deeper career mode, and hopefully some more polished graphics that take advantage of the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X's processing power. We are also adding more classic cars, again listening to our fans as to which of the historical F1 cars they would most like to virtually drive next.

What is New in F1 2018?

This is a feature which was part of early games but disappeared with the release of F1 2012.

Unfortunately, as of the time of this writing, details about the game are scarce, however, it was confirmed that more classic cars will be added than the previous entry and that the career mode will be greatly expanded.
