Brazil star Neymar has admitted he is in "the most difficult" period of his career ahead of his return from injury for the World Cup.

'Nobody is as nervous about my comeback and nobody is more scared than me.

Brazilian fans are crossing their fingers that the world's most expensive player will be 100 percent fit for their team's bid to win a record-extending sixth world title in Russian Federation.

When asked if he had told the Brazilian not even to think about going to Madrid, a smiling Messi said: "He knows what I think, I've already told him". Having moved from Barcelona to Paris for a world-record fee, he showed no signs of feeling the pressure, quickly settling into life in the French capital and often looking a cut above any player in the league.

"It's a very hard time, right?"

Months after Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona, rumours of him returning to Spain have started doing the rounds.

"Thank God I have this further opportunity, this further chance, to try to be a world champion for my country, which is a dream that I have had since childhood".

Neymar was on Tuesday included in the 23-man provisional Brazilian squad for the World Cup which starts in Russian Federation on June 14.

The Brazilian has refused to address the speculation and said he is concentrating on recovering from a foot injury in time for next month's World Cup.

A total of €1.645m was raised for the PSG Foundation at Tuesday night's gala dinner at the Parc des Princes, over €1m more than previous year, according to L'Equipe.

Team Doctor Lasmar said,"Neymar should be able to "regain match fitness" when he takes part in friendlies against Croatia on Jun 3 and Austria on Jun 10". Brazil will start its World Cup campaign against Switzerland June 17, followed by Costa Rica and Serbia in Group E.
