Bryant reportedly turned down a multi-year deal with the Ravens ahead of last month's draft with the hope of instead securing a one-year "prove-it" deal.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (88) yells to another player during warmups before an National Football League game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at FedEx Field in Hyattsville, Maryland.

Baltimore is no longer an option for Bryant since the Ravens signed Willie Snead to an offer sheet and the New Orleans Saints didn't match it.

In a response from Bryant, he said he remains very appreciative of the offer from Baltimore before going on to question what he pictures as the media's motivation to continue to place his character in a negative light. The three-time Pro Bowl selection has gone a career-worst 23 regular-season games without a 100-yard performance.

Bryant was a touchdown machine in the first half of his career with the Cowboys, hauling in 41 scoring passes in a three-season span, capped by a career-high 16 in 2014.

During that spectacular run from 2012-14, Bryant also averaged 91 receptions and put up at least 1,233 receiving yards in each of those seasons.
