"Instead of creating a Cumulative Update package to service these issues, we made a decision to create a new build with the fixes included".

Due to a last-minute bug, Microsoft eventually made a decision to hold back the release of the new Windows 10 update.

As a quick reminder, when Microsoft launched Windows 10 build 17133 last week, everybody expected this release would be the RTM version.

However, Microsoft's discovery of a blocking bug threw a rather large spanner in the works and delayed the release of the forthcoming feature update.

Insiders can download the new build by Checking for Updates in Settings. After a brief testing, Build 17134 "the RTM candidate" will be shipped to all rings of the Windows Insider program. This build doesn't bring any new features but includes the fixes from KB4100375 alongside additional fixes and improvements to make the OS more stable.

Build 17133 progressed through the rings, we discovered some reliability issues we wanted to fix. "In certain cases, these reliability issues could have led to a higher percentage of (BSOD) on PCs for example", Microsoft said in a statement.

Today, we are releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17134 (RS4) to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring. In the blog post, Microsoft says that build 17133 was rendering BSOD on some systems, and as that is something the users can not deal with, the update was delayed.
