Second baseman Josh Harrison had to leave yesterday's Pirates-Marlins game in Miami after he was hit on the left hand by a 96-mph fastball from Jose Urena.

Harrison was hit on the hand by a 96 miles per hour pitch in the third inning of Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins. The two-time All-Star missed the final month of the 2017 season, when he broke the same finger when he was hit by Cincinnati's Tyler Mahle. He is expected to miss six weeks.

A two-time All-Star, Harrison was hitting.263 with a home run and five runs batted in and an OPS of.679 though 14 games. In his absence, Adam Frazier will likely get the most playing time at the keystone.

The Pirates are now in first place of the NL Central with a 2 1/2 game lead over the Cardinals.
