Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the US -led attacks on Syria violated global law and if they go unanswered by worldwide bodies, more of such chaos in the world will be conceivable, Tasnim news agency reported on Monday. The Syrian leadership denied any involvement in the attack and invited the experts from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to investigate the reports.

Earlier Saturday morning, the United States, in cooperation with Britain and France, attacked Syrian military facilities allegedly related to Syria's chemical weapons capabilities.
Putin condemned Saturday's strikes as an "act of aggression" that will worsen the humanitarian catastrophe in Syria and have a "destructive influence on the entire system of worldwide relations".
"The attack by the USA and its allies against Syria showed that we are facing new problems and issues in the way of a final fight against terrorism in Syria and that we must have more consultation and cooperation with each other", the Iranian president told his Russian counterpart".
On Saturday, the U.S., U.K., and France launched airstrikes on the Assad regime's alleged chemical weapons facilities in Syria.
"At a time that militants are suffering a defeat in Syria on a daily basis, such aggressive act certainly means support for these defeated groups", the Iranian president said.
According to a statement issued by the Kremlin, the two leaders agreed that the airstrikes have "seriously damaged" the prospects of political settlement in Syria.
