After practically living in the studio and continuously teasing a new project, its Drizzy season is finally approaching as he took to Instagram today (April 16th) to announce the new project which is to be titled "Scorpion".
In a follow-up post, he uploaded a picture of a gold pendant with the image of a scorpion.
Beneath the album title shows the words "June Twenty Eighteen by Drake". The captions of both photos are "June 2018". Despite the fact that it's been less than a few hours since the announcement, it looks like his album is already certified to receive a plaque upon its release. It was an instant hit with the fans and that explains why Drake has replaced himself at the number 1 spot of Billboard Hot 100 this week.
"God's Plan" spent a total of 11 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was just the fifth song in history to spend its first 10 weeks on the chart at number one. His 2016 Views single, "One Dance", held the previous record at 10 weeks. With this, the Lauryn Hill sampled smash becomes the 30th song to debut at the top spot of the Hot 100 chart.
