The scramble could be on to find a time when the Yankees can come back to Motor City.

The Yankees and Detroit Tigers were rained out on Saturday and, although it took a while, both ends of their Sunday doubleheader were washed out, as well.

The two games have been rescheduled as a part of a doubleheader on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Detroit.

NY (7-7) returns to the Bronx for a two-game series with the Derek Jeter's Miami Marlins (4-11).

Game 1 was scratched about three hours before the scheduled first pitch, with Game 2 called in the early afternoon.

This weekend was the Yankees' only scheduled trip to Detroit this season. The teams have a mutual off day June 4, for example, when NY would be traveling anyway between road games at Baltimore and Toronto. The Yankees won 8-6 behind two Aaron Hicks homers in Friday's game.
