Suzuki axes advertising deal with TV hosts Ant and Dec

Ant and Dec Suzuki

ITV LUCRATIVE DEAL Ant Mc Partlin is facing the axe from his £20m Suzuki deal

Ant's close pal Dec is said to be "devastated" on the news of his drink-drive charge and return to rehab.

Ant, 42, has returned to treatment and stepped down from current TV work following his arrest in Richmond, London on Sunday.

"Even if two people remain friends, if they no longer spend much time together, or do the things they used to do together, the life they used to live is gone".

RANGERS legend Paul "Gazza" Gascoigne has offered to step in and help save popular show Saturday Night Takeaway.

It will return on Saturday, March 31 with Dec hosting solo.

"Suzuki will however continue to sponsor the last two episodes of this series of Saturday Night Takeaway with our current idents".

Donnelly wrote in a statement on the duo's official Twitter page: "Whilst I never thought I'd be in this position, after much discussion and careful consideration we've decided that the remaining two shows of this series of Saturday Night Takeaway will go ahead".

Speaking on This Morning to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about Dec's role on Saturday Night Takeaway, Gordon said: 'It's interesting you mention that because Britain's Got Talent is a good example of that.

Following the incident, ITV confirmed that the upcoming edition of Saturday Night Takeaway would be cancelled.

"We made a promise to take hundreds of deserving winners to Florida to watch the series finale and will honour that".

Suzuki, which sponsors ITV's Saturday Night Takeaway, runs adverts around the show in which McPartlin and Donnelly are seen driving around and giving cars away to members of the public. We completely support Ant's decision to seek treatment.

Ant checked into rehab a year ago for an addiction to prescription painkillers, brought on by a painful knee operation. You may be standing alone but we are behind you, in front of you and beside you. your fans will carry you and we know you will do nothing but your best and we love you for it.as we always have and always will. It remains to be seen what will happen with Britain's Got Talent and I'm A Celebrity.
