Gloucestershire police had warned people not to go near Kayleigh McConon, who is suffering from an unknown "contagious condition" and who vanished from Cheltenham General Hospital at around 10 p.m. last night, Gloucestershire Live reported.
Gloucestershire Police subsequently thanked members of the public for their help in sharing the appeal and tracing Ms McConnon.
"Officers are concerned for her welfare and are appealing for anyone who sees her to not approach her as she has a contagious condition, but to call police on 101 and quote incident 42 of 14 March."
"We are pleased to report that Kayleigh McConnon is no longer missing and has returned to hospital".
Officers were able to find the 29-year-old and said they'd spoken to "those she had been in contact with" and offered advice.
