Apple's just announced its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC 18) will take place on June 4-9. The developer conference is schedule for June 4th through 8th, and like past year, it will take place in San Jose's McEnery Convention Center.
This is breaking and will be updated.
Occasionally the company also uses the event to announce hardware products. Other attendees will have to pay $1,599 per ticket, the same as a ticket was to last year's WWDC.
Apple has reportedly shelved many exciting features intended for iOS 12, including a home screen redesign and several app tweaks.
In addition to paid tickets, Apple is also offering up to 350 students and STEM organization members aged 13 or older the opportunity to win free tickets by creating Swift playgrounds. The HomePod has been its major focus in the first half of this year. Available in 155 countries across iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and iMessage, the App Store gives Apple customers access to millions of apps to make their lives easier, enrich their passions and connect with people around the globe.
