Devil May Cry is the Latest Series Crossover for Monster Hunter

Monster Hunter World and Devil May Cry team up for future Event Quest

Monster Hunter: World to feature stylish Devil May Cry collab

World collaborations continue to come as the game continues to sell, with Capcom announcing today that players will be able to get a bit of Devil May Cry flare in their Monster Hunter with the addition of Dante as its next guest character. Aside from that, Capcom has stated that players will be able to fight "hellish" monsters and unlock a weapon in Monster Hunter: World that's a combination of the Force Edge and Alastor in the Devil May Cry world.

It also looks as though there's an Ebony and Ivory damaging taunt, not unlike the Street Fighter crossover's Hadouken - it's not clear if that will be a microtransaction in the same way.

While details are scarce at present, Capcom did say players will be able to use Dante's weapons Force Edge. a.k.a.

The trailer above shows Dante's Monster Hunter: World debut in action, as he unleashes his transforming sword on one of the series' trademark beasts. Please stay tuned for more information on when this content will be available. Unlike the PS4-exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn gear, the Devil May Cry armor will be available to all Monster Hunter World players on PS4 and Xbox One.
