It's the first time the Dark Souls franchise is coming to a Nintendo platform.

The new Kirby game for Switch now has a title and a release date. If you haven't completed the main campaign yet, you can follow along with our walkthrough, hopefully just in time for the update to arrive. The mini-game has two different modes the hide it mode and the find it mode. New outfits will also be included such as Sunshine Shades and knights armor. Case in point: Nintendo France's managing director stressed the EA will most likely "double down" on the Switch this year with the 2018 World Cup on its way. Considering that the primary criticisms of that game revolved around its lack of content and innovations, we'd say that the quick reveal of Mario Tennis Ace's story mode suggests that Nintendo is aware of what went wrong and is willing to fix it.

Wave 1 releases January 31st and will add Aegislash as a playable fighter along with Mimikyu and Mega Rayquaza as supports.

The unlikely merging of worlds in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle throws another character into the mix with a visit from Donkey Kong with a new storyline, you'll need to pick up the season pass or purchase the DLC on its own to try this update though. Unfortunately, it's only a minigame with leaderboards, but Nintendo knows their audience: "It's like a new form of objective-based speedrunning!" as the announcer described it in the Direct video. Mario Tennis Aces, coming this spring, will feature both competitive gameplay and a story mode, the first since the Game Boy Advance title.

Everything shown today is slated to arrive on Switch within the next few months, painting a good picture of what we can expect from the first half of 2018. There will be more games coming to both devices: Payday 2 on Switch, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana on Switch and more! Nintendo of America's SVP of Sales and Marketing said in a statement that people who have received Nintendo Switch as a holiday gift or are getting ready to join the Switch community are going to have a lot of fun with new games.

However, some of you might have missed all the Nintendo Switch announcements made by Nintendo at Nintendo Direct Moni 2018, so we will be listing all the games that were announced for Switch at the event so that you can keep track of them.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is being ported over from the Wii U to the Switch with all of the previous DLC thrown in for good measure, along with The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild costumes for Link and Zelda.

New announced Nintendo Switch games include Parise The Sun, Mario Tennis Aces, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Kirby Star Allies, Hyrule Warriors and more.

Switch players will also get a "a new beginner-friendly mode" where they will play as Funky Kong, who has quite a number of movesets through his trusty surfboard that include double jumps, hovering, infinite rolls, and endless underwater corkscrews.

Celeste looks set to be 2018's tough 2D action platformer with some incredibly harsh terrain to make it through with the character's unique move set.

Fe is coming to Switch on February 16th.
