Dark Souls Remastered announced for PC, Switch, Xbox One, and PS4

The PC version is not so well respected, but the community has crafted a number of mods to improve the experience.

Not only that but the multiplayer will support 6 players at once, making it easier than ever to team up and beat up a boss. Dark Souls Remastered arrives May 25 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Quite a bit of news dropped today with the Nintendo Direct Mini, and Nintendo made sure to save the best for last. The Nintendo Switch version will run at 1080p/30fps while docked, Bandai Namco confirmed in a press release. In any case, the development of a remaster may also explain why the original Dark Souls has not seen any meaningful discounted in such a long time. The inclusion of the Dark Souls franchise in the ever-growing catalogue of Switch games goes right along with Nintendo's decision to include more mature titles like Doom and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. "Also, 1080p resolution with 30FPS is available when playing the game on Nintendo Switch with its TV mode".
