A baby girl has been returned safely to her parents after a vehicle she was in was stolen on Friday morning in Dublin.
The auto and the infant were located 45 minutes later at 8.15am in the Clongriffin area.
The mother of the baby said last night that she did not want to discuss the terrifying incident.
The baby was found safe and well and has since been reunited with their parents. They are particularly appealing to anyone who observed the auto taken in the incident between 7.30am and 8.15am to contact them.
The infant was unharmed and no arrests were made, a Garda spokesman said.
They have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact Raheny Garda Station on 01-666-4300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111, or any Garda station.
