Wilson has been accused of firing a shotgun multiple times at KPD officer Jay Williams Thursday night during a traffic stop on Washington Pike.

Officer Jay Williams was in the middle of a traffic stop when police say Wilson fired his weapon from inside his vehicle.

Ronnie Lucas Wilson has made the "Top 10 Most Wanted" list, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The search continued after shooting suspect Ronnie Wilson's vehicle was found on the corner of Jim Wolfe Road and Emory Road in the Corryton area Friday.

Cops said early Friday that Officer Williams has been released from the hospital. Wilson is wanted by the Knoxville Police and the TBI to face a charge of attempted first degree murder of a police officer.

As both cars were still moving, Wilson fired one round from a shotgun, Rausch said.

Police said Ronnie Lucas Wilson is armed and risky.

On Friday afternoon, KPD said investigators needed help finding an endangered female in the company of Wilson.

Law enforcement agencies across the state are "very familiar" with Wilson, Rausch said, adding that Wilson is listed in a database "as a member of the Aryan Nations gang".

Wilson, who is already well-known by local law enforcement was sentenced to three years in prison in 2011 for aggravated burglary. Facebook photos reveal a large swastika tattoo on his body as well as a Celtic cross with the words "White Pride Worldwide", according to the Knoxville News Sentinel. So we ask that folks if you see the vehicle, if you know this individual, then do not intervene.

The Aryan Nations is the largest white supremacist prison gang in Tennessee, according to the Anti-Defamation League. "If he took a shot at an officer, he wouldn't hesitate to take a shot at anyone else".
