Three questions with Titans RB Derrick Henry

It was an impressive victory for the Titans, as they had to overcome a 21-3 deficit.

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: Marcus Mariota for the Titans. "He's broken off a lot of long runs, running plays, screens".

Henry: "I got more in the flow of the game".

The Patriots have had a week off to prepare. "But it is always fun when you are playing football".

Fewer teams beat Brady at home on a Saturday night.

Getting Henry to acknowledge any change in his own confidence or being pleased after a big game is as tough as tackling him in the open field. But whether it will be Dion Lewis, Rex Burkhead or James White is anyone's guess, given coach Bill Belichick's penchant for switching RBs.

Keep in mind: The Titans' last win in Foxborough was 1993, back when they were still the Houston Oilers. The Titans haven't won at New England since 1993 and have covered just one of their past five there.

Past controversies, from 2007's Spygate to 2015's Deflategate have invariably brought out the best in Brady and the Patriots, who are rarely more unsafe when they perceive an injustice. He's 6-2 in those games.

Tennessee hasn't scored more than 24 points since Week 6, so we don't see the Titans being able to win a game in the mid-to-high 20s. The Pats start this game as huge favourites, but I believe they'll concede lots of points to this inventive Titans offense, and therein lies huge value for punters, by backing the Titans to get over their quote of 17 points. New England's pass-catching running backs could prosper too.

The Titans have said this week they're not putting much stock into what's being said about them, but that's not easy.

Earlier this week, Belichick said he didn't have anything else to add to a statement issued by Kraft, Brady and himself. A very small part of me says that Belichick created this as extra motivation for his team, then again, they really don't need it considering they are the odds-on favorite.

"I think Tim has been one of our better, if not our best, practice squad guys all year", Byard told reporters.

Let's see if Tennessee or Jacksonville can prove that theory wrong this weekend. You've got to go out there and make the plays. "I'm going to get another chance to play - it's a great team in a good environment - so just making sure I'm doing all the right things this week". WR ERIC DECKER had TD catch last week. He's thrown 37 touchdowns to seven interceptions and the Patriots are 16-1 in those games. When New England quarterback Tom Brady won his first Lombardi Trophy, Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota was in elementary school.

Derrick Henry is emerging as a feature back for the Tennessee Titans in DeMarco Murray's absence, which has led to some speculation that Murray's time with the team could be over.

"We spotted those a-holes a day and a half", Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said of the Patriots in the infamous Facebook Live video shot in the locker room after the win over the Chiefs. S KEVIN BYARD tied for National Football League lead with 8 INTs, 3rd most by safety in team history. Just two of Tennessee's last eight opponents managed more than 100 rushing yards while the team held three other squads to less than 200 through the air. The last two came in December when Miami's Kenyan Drake and Pittsburgh's Le'Veon Bell joined Kansas City's Kareem Hunt and Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon as players to eclipse the century mark against the Patriots. This contest screams of a game dominated by Rob Gronkowski, who eats up the middle of the field against mediocre linebackers. The Titans probably would not have defeated the Chiefs if Travis Kelce did not leave with a concussion.

"There's no doubt about it", Vikings defensive coordinator George Edwards says, "you have a first ballot Hall of Fame quarterback that does an excellent job of going out and executing their game from week to week". It's usually a place where those dreams go to die.
