The OnePlus 5T has started receiving a new update. Recently, the Chinese company was reported to consider the early user feedback to improve the dual camera setup on the OnePlus 5T. The new update that is the OxygenOS 4.7.4 OTA update measures 285MB in size. OnePlus CEO Carl Pei had previously announced that the developers were working on updates to bring improved low-light conditions, further adding that the images would have more detail than before.
Other updates and fixes in OxygenOS 4.7.4 include optimizations in audio performance from the speakers and earphones, battery performance improvements (including when connected to Wi-Fi), tuned the vibration settings and improved the stability of fingerprint sensor and Global Positioning System. Also, the UI of the camera has been optimized.
"For those who were on previous versions for OnePlus 5T, we appreciate your active feedback and attempts to reach out to us". Additionally, the update includes an improved stability of fingerprint and GPS and comes with general bug fixes and system stability improvements. There are system optimizations as well those have brought about improvements in the audio quality, vibrations and face unlock.
The OxygenOS 4.7.4 update is rolling out "incrementally", the term OnePlus uses to indicate a phased rollout, and will reach a broader number of OnePlus 5T users in the coming days. There is also an optimisation for battery usage on Wi-Fi.
